Slana

Well January was a fun month. I met Eric who is my new best buddy! He is new to Alaska and doesn't know alot of people so we hang out a lot! He is really outdoorsy and likes to fish. We have been trying out some cabins and attempting to ice-fish. My favorite trip was when we spent the weekend in Slana. We drank, played games and ice-fished on Jack Lake. It must have been -20 degrees, but we caught tons of bourbot. I am enjoying spending time with him, however, there are no sparks! He is definatly just a friend, but a much needed one right now. I have never been good at being alone and can't stand DOING things alone. Being single is definalty what I need right now, but I dont want to spend the weekend at a cabin by myself!! Also, we are starting a work-out program and he is teaching me alot at the gym. Finally a gym partner! I am pretty much an embarrasement at this point. I cant do more than 5 push up and can barely run 5 minutes without stopping, but I am trying. You have to start somewhere! This month I am also on the hunt for a house....
